Ralf Ferhadbegovic was born in 1967 in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.

He studied Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, graduating with honors.
He completed an international management program, earning an MBA with honors in Entrepreneurship and Leadership from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, USA.

His great-uncle was the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Roman Herzog. In 2007, the Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber visited his companies.

Ralf Ferhadbegovic began his professional career as a Project Manager at Bellmer GmbH in Germany, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of paper machines.

Since 1994, Ralf Ferhadbegovic has held various positions, serving as CEO and majority shareholder of the family-owned corporate group.

In 2023, he founded CONTE1899 as a trading and consulting company in Monaco.

The core competencies of most of his companies include the planning, design, manufacturing, installation, and sales of industrial plants for global corporations such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Westlake Chemicals, BASF, SABIC, UPM Paper, Sappi Paper, Smurfit Kappa Paper Group, Koehler, Felix Schoeller, Leipa, Volkswagen, General Motors, Volvo, and many others.

Through his real estate companies, he is very experienced in real estate development and own and lease commercial and residential properties.
